Normally I try and keeps things vaguely interesting up in this piece.
Alas, I'm going to babble about my internship for a while, so take it or leave it.
I get there early only to stumble on to the elevator with the broken button. You do the math: 27 floors and one number doesn't work. Hmmm...I wonder whose floor that could be. I felt as though I was in a Twilight Zone episode.
Basically it was all menial tasks with a bunch of really fucking awesome people. I got to see the master for a new Rye Coalition video. I know who is touring with Cat Power. I got free CD's.
The two Tigerstyle Executive guys took the 3 interns out to lunch and I kinda flirted. There was a party at the end of the day. We were forced to go and I almost got into a fight because I wouldn't take a beer.
Yeah. It was fantastic.
I keep thinking all the guys are gay because they are sooo indie-pretty and skinny and well-dressed. But most of them aren't.
Got another job at a yarn store. That's right, I am slowly morphing into a grandma.
Ex boy has a new girlfriend, and I think we've outgown our use for one another. It makes me kind of sad, but it's probably for the best. It's hard to be close with someone when you intially stopped being close with them for certain reasons-that haven't changed.
