Sometimes I wish I could wear a shirt listng all the books I've read, all the bands I like and know, all the pretentious indie movies I've seen, every piece of artwork I can name.
Sometimes I find it so difficult to make this tedious pop culture conversation, name dropping and a battle of the personality.
It's an aborted thought that used to just be an irritation.
In other hypocrisy-last night at work I met the lead singer from American Analog Set who was humble and charming and oh-so-indie and all I could think was "omigod he's met Ben Gibbard."
I've progressed from full blown music snob to full blown obsessive loser.
